Basic Set Up Instructions

1. Verify that your server meets the following minium requirements:

    * A web server (Apache or IIS)
    * PHP 4.3 or greater (the 5.x series works fine)
    * MySQL 4 or greater
    * IMAP library is required for bounce and mail checking
    * Crontab for scheduled mail sending

If it does not, please visit http://www.jvresponderpro.com/hosts.html for a list 
of low cost hosts that do meet the requrirements.

2. Set up the mysql database on your host that you wish to use.  (Your host
  should provide you with this information.)  Make sure you know: 
  a) The host address (normally this is localhost, but some hosts have 
     different mysql addresses)
  b) The database name.
  c) The user name (with dba privilages)
  d) The password for that user.

3. Upload the zip file jvresponderpro.zip to your server and unzip it. 
   a) Alternatively, you may unzip the file onto your own computer, and upload
      the script to your host via FTP.  
   b) Be sure you have write permisssion enabled on this directory. 
   
4. Navigate to the jvresponderpro directory on your host: 
   (i.e. http://www.yourhost.com/jvresponderpro)
   
5. The first time you are there, you will be given the opportunity to enter your
   database configuration information.
   
6. After the database connection is configured , the next time you 
   Navigate to the jvresponderpro directory, you will be taken to the autoresponder 
   configuration screen.  Enter your administrator name and password. After the 
   password is set, You may change the other configuration values at any time.
